So passes the last of the Grand Gottshalls

Today our dear great-aunt Myrt passed away at 5am. She was 92. Born at the turn of the century, she had memories of all sorts of treasures and times gone by. I find it amazing she was born in 1914 and saw so many things come and go. She out lived two husbands, her daughter and was the youngest of the senior Gottshall clan. My husbands grandfather was one of her brothers and she came from a family of 10 children. She spent the last 3 months in a nursing home under very good supervison. She was an interesting, strong woman who favored cute guys, liked to vote republican, and was always on the look out to say something witty.

We will miss her. Good-bye Myrt.
