This one is entitled "Blue Forest" and measures 3' by 2'.

The word for the week is "Surprise" and I thought I'd share something I don't normally share...hence, "Blue Forest".

I like this, Emily. The blue "trees" stand out but at the same time blend with the other colors. The vertical strokes coming from the top and the bottom create an almost interlocking look. This must have been really fun to do!

striking shades of blue and red in this. great contrast. like carla, i like the "interlocking" sense in this.

A beautiful painting. The color balance is excellent and makes a rich, soothing mix.

I'm not sure how suprise-y it is, but it's beautiful.
